History:

Friends of Camp Sacramento is a non-profit volunteer organization, consisting of people with a love for camp. We are dedicated to supporting Camp Sacramento for the enjoyment of all campers by providing financial contributions, conducting project improvements, social activities, and by increasing awareness by public outreach.

Since our formation in 1977, we have also consulted with, and advised as requested, the camp management and/or City of Sacramento, Department of Parks and Recreation regarding operations, policies, procedures and development of Camp which is under a special use permit on the Eldorado National Forest.

Take a look at what we do:
  • Raise funds to benefit camp continuation
  • Put on the Labor Day weekend
  • Sponsor the camp social wine tasting and socials at the opening of camp.
