Through your support, we are able to purchase or procure donations for Camp to make the camping experience more enjoyable.

The following are a few items we have contributed to Camp:

  • The great playground that was installed in 2000
  • The awning on the dining hall porch and lodge
  • New double beds in all cabins
  • Industrial sized snow blower and Log splitter
  • The remodeling of the lodge and lobby desk
  • A riding lawn mower
  • Patio furniture
  • Kitchen supplies, and other small items that are needed on a regular basis
  • Archery netting
  • "No Bear" cans for safe waste removal
  • Washers and Dryers
  • Tables and chairs for lodge activities
  • Flowers in planter boxes on the Store patio
  • Support for the Riverside bench which was built as an Eagle Scout project.
  • Work weekends at the beginning and end of the summer to aid camp staff in preparing for the current and future seasons

Friends of Camp Sacramento is a volunteer organization, formed to support Camp Sacramento,
located off Hwy. 50 between Strawberry and Echo Summit on the way to Lake Tahoe, CA.
